Welcome to the web site of Stafford Osteopaths. We hope that as you browse through the site, you might come to understand a little bit more about osteopathy and all the amazing possibilities connected with it. It is, of course, very difficult to cover absolutely everything, so we do invite you to give us a call about any particular problem you might have.

We do have a number of special interests at the practice: the first being an approach which aims to help people who suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (M.E.) while another area is that of infantile colic. It is hoped that we may be able to put some research data together for these conditions at a later date.

Ian Whyte D.O.
Ian graduated from the British School of Osteopathy, London in 1978 with the prize in Applied Anatomy and Physiology and has been on private practice ever since. He has lectured at Keele, Staffordshire and Leeds Beckett Universities and was instrumental in setting up a Master's Degree in Osteopathic Sports Care at Leeds; the first of its kind in the world. He was a founder member of the Osteopathic Sports Care Association (OSCA) and was part of the medical team at the Commonwealth Games in 2002. His other main interest is children with special needs and as such has conducted work in China, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
